2019 was wonderful
i spent a month in Thailand studying to teach qigong (sexual and otherwise)

the beauty of spring

i'm always in love with NYC when i return from being away. . . this time of year is amazing. . . i'm completely enrapt with the beauty of the city right now.
i had not given a full massage since November (just pieces on lovers and family) and my love of the city and massage has me wanting to move back here just so i can give massages all the time again. . . to be able to touch someone with care, pleasure, appreciation. . . to help them feel better than however they felt before, to bring them a type of physical joy unique to massage . . . it's a powerful experience. i love doing this almost more than anything. . . however, i also love listening to wind in the trees, bugs whirring, water burbling over rocks, waves crashing. . . grand open skies. . . i love walking barefoot on the earth and being totally naked under the sky. . . that's much more difficult to experience here: when i close my eyes and tune into the soundscape it's mostly the whir of machinery and every time i've sat in a beautiful park to people watch and enjoy the flowers. . . there has been some crazy man screaming about whatever version of insanity he is lost in. NYC is rough if you value peace. . .

though peace can be found in any place or situation if one remembers the feeling of peace, the sound of silence. . . the cool beauty of the earth can be felt, even if it is a hundred feet below the cement, asphalt, pipes and wires. . . yes. . . but there is a specific pleasure in being able to release all effort, feel safe, and rest in the loving aspect of existence. . . NYC isn't really about that for me. i don't rest terribly well here.

sharing family

i've been posting on SilverDaddies for over a year
