My favorite activity is learning languages (I speak German well; Italian enough to discuss most topics in daily life, read novels without a dictionary, etc. and French. I like to read 19th century literature in general. But in German I prefer philosophical works; in French, poetry; and in Italian, popular novels. (They are easier!) When I have time, I study European history and art. However, much of my time is taken up with gardening, cooking and entertaining. Enjoy having friends over for lunch, a swim in the pool and if the chemistry is right, a good down-to-earth roll in the hay. Negative and disease free.

Voglio passare qualche tempo in Italia per migliorare il mio italiano. Ho cominciato a imparare italiano 12 anni fa e ho passato due mesi a Roma e sei settimane a Bari parlando italiano tutto il tempo senza grandi problemi. Cerco un uomo che non vuole parlare inglese con me e che vuole scambiare visite. Abito a Palm Springs in California, una città (160 kilometri da Los Angeles) dove la maggioranza della popolazione è gay. Ho una casa grande con piscina. A me piacerebbe molto avere ospiti. In cambio voglio visitarti in Italia. Io sono attivo, molto sportivo. Ho 76 anni. I miei interessi sono teatro, musica classica e l'arte in genere. Sono finanziariamente indipendente e non lavoro più da qualche anno. Avevo insegnato inglese e tedesco all'università. Ora lavoro nel giardino, suono il pianoforte, faccio ogni giorno un giro con la bicicletta e vado alla palestra. Passo molto tempo sulla scrivania studiando italiano, l'arte e la storia dell'europa. A me piacciono uomini passivi che siano allegri e sappiano godere una passionata notte a letto.

Ich möchte ein paar Wochen in Deutschland verbringen, damit ich ein bißchen Deutsch sprechen kann. Hab´ zwölf Jahre lang in München gewohnt und sprach damals ziemlich gutes Deutsch. Schau mal ob es noch „fließt!" Wenn´s geht, würde ich gerne einen Austasch machen. (Ich besuche Dich und Du besuchst mich.) Ich würde meine(n) deutschen Gastgeber nach Palm Springs einladen, damit er bei mir ein paar Wochen in Kalifornien verbringen kann. Ich habe ein großes Haus mit Schwimmbad. Palm Springs liegt 160 Kilometer von Los Angeles und ist (für Amerikaner) ein bekanntes Wohnort für gay Männer. Ich ziehe vor, im Juli oder August nach Deutschland zu fliegen, weil es in diesen Monaten ziemlich heiß hier ist. September bis anfang Dezember und März bis anfang Juli ist wie im Sommer in Deutschland.
Deutsch ist meine Lieblingssprache und ich freue mich unheimlich wenn ich die Gelegenheit finde, Deutsch zu sprechen. Suche immer neue Freunde und würde gerne Besuchern die Sehenswürdigkeiten von Palm Springs und der Gegend zeigen. Ich liebe Fahrrad fahren, die Sporthalle, Theater, klassische Musik und Kunst. Bin 72 Jahre alt, Aktiver und suche einen Mann, der im Bett und auch außerhalb des Schlafzimmers das Leben genießt.
